Pilafs are a superb and flavorful rice dish that may be served as a side dish or main course. Wonderful when served with meats or vegetables.
Wild Rice Pilaf I

Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- 1 onion; minced
- 2 carrots; finely diced
- 1 stalk celery; finely diced
- 1 Cup wheat berries
- 1 Cup brown rice
- 1/2 Cup wild rice
- 4 1/2 Cups vegetable broth or water
- 1/2 Tablespoons Kosher salt
Instructions
- Heat oil in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir in onions, carrots, and celery, and cook until softened but not browned. Add wheat berries, brown rice, wild rice, vegetable broth, and salt. Stir to combine. Cover and cook for 40 minutes over medium to low heat.
