Serves: Enough for 1 cake
- 1 Cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 Tablespoon shortening
- 1 to 2 Tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Beat until spreading consistency.
- Refrigerate remaining frosting for several days until needed again.
- Makes enough to top one small sheet cake. Double or triple for larger cakes.
