This combination of Jell-o and ice cream produces a wonderfully light dessert, decorated with candies to make it appealing to the season. But delicious any time of year. Experiment.
- 1 package (85 gram) Jell-o brand orange jelly powder
- 1 Cup boiling water
- 2 Cups vanilla ice cream
- softened assorted candies (licorice whips, cut to form eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows and a nib for the hat)
- Dissolve jelly powder in boiling water. Add ice cream by spoonfuls, whisking until smooth. Pour into dessert dishes. Chill until set, about 30 minutes. Make pumpkin faces on jelly with candies. Makes 4 servings.
