Serves: 2 cups
- 1 Cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 large dill pickle, cut into pieces and minced
- 1/4 small onion, minced
- 1 large egg, hard boiled, quartered and minced
- 1 Tablespoon capers, drained and chopped
- 1 teaspoon chives, snipped
- Put all of the ingredients into a bowl and blend thoroughly. Chill.
Serve tartar sauce with your favorite fish or shellfish.
