- 2 slices walnut bread
- 2 ripe figs, rinsed, trimmed and sliced
- 4 to 5 slices prosciutto
- fresh watercress or arugula
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 Cup Mascarpone
- 1/2 Cup Gorgonzola
- Spread 1 slice walnut bread with cheese mixture; top with watercress and then prosciutto. Spread the sliced fig.around evenly. Put slices together, cut in half and serve. The sandwiches may be wrapped and chilled for use later.
- Mix honey and Mascarpone till thoroughly blended.Add Gorgonzola and blend gently.
