Serves: 2 Cups
- 2 Cups pecans, shelled
- 2 Tablespoons light salad oil (canola preferred)
- salt, to taste
- Put the pecans into your food processor and run until pecans become a paste, and form a ball. Stop, add oil and pulse until the ball becomes a smooth paste. Stop, add a little salt and pulse. Taste and add more salt if necessary.
Use this in place of peanut butter for pastries, cookies or candies.
