Pants Biscuits
Recipe type: Breads and Rolls
Serves: 100 biscuits
  • 8 ounces honey
  • 10 1/2 ounces butter
  • 3 3/4 pounds bread flour
  • 1 1/4 ounces baking powder
  • 1/2 ounce salt
  • 1 1/4 pounds milk
  • 1 pound sugar
  • 1 ounce cinnamon
  1. Cream honey and butter. Combine bread flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Roll out dough to 1/4" thickness. Cut into "pants" shape. Combine cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle over biscuits. Bakes at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes.
Biscuit Pants is also the unflattering nickname of Lou Gehrig.
