- 2 Tablespoons minced shallot or green onion
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon toasted whole mustard seed
- 2 Tablespoons white wine or Champagne vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 Cup fruity olive oil
- salt, to taste
- freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
- Whisk all ingredients together until combined.
- Store covered in refrigerator for up to 5 days.
