Moravian Mints

Serves: 0
  • 3 Cups powdered sugar
  • 1 Cup boiling water
  • 12 drops peppermint oil, or
  • 12 drops wintergreen oil
  1. Boil sugar and water until when dropped in cold water it forms a soft ball. Add the mint oil, remove from stove and beat until it thickens.
  2. Then drop from spoon in thin patties on buttered or oiled paper.
  3. If wintergreen is used, color with red or green junket or food coloring.
