This sauce falls just short of being classified as a marmalade, but remains a wonderful sauce as a topping for chocolate desserts such as mousse, cake or puddings.


Kumquat Sauce

Serves: 4
Ingredients
  • 12 kumquats
  • 1 1/2 Cups orange juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces sugar
Instructions
  1. 1. Wash and slice kumquats into fine, thin slices; add the orange juice and the sugar and cook for about 10 minutes.
  2. Let cool and serve with Mousse au Chocolat.
