A fast preparation, this dressing also substitutes well as a marinade.

Italian Dressing I
Recipe type: Salads and Dressings
Serves: 5
  • 1 Cup salad oil
  • 1/4 Cup vinegar
  • 1 small garlic clove; minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 dash bottled hot pepper sauce
  1. Put all of the ingredients into a blender container and blend until combined. Chill thoroughly before serving. Shake before using on the salad.
  2. Makes 1 1/4 cups.
