Inn at the Park Cereal

Serves: 12
  • 8 Cups quick cooking oats
  • 1/4 Cup light brown sugar
  • 2 Cups chopped walnuts
  • 1 Cup Wheat Germ
  • 2 Tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 - 1 Cup oil (depending on how much fat you want in it)
  • 3/4 Cup honey
  • 1/4 Cup pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup raisins
  1. Mix dry ingredients together one at a time. Combine wet ingredients in a bowl, add dry ingredients and mix until well blended. Spread on two cookie sheets and bake at 325 for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Watch it carefully, as it will brown very quickly toward the end of the baking time.) Cool, add raisins and store in an airtight container.
