Honey Walnut Ice-Cream

  • 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 Cup milk, scalded
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon walnut flavoring
  • 3/4 Cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 1 Cup honey
  1. Combine egg yolks, milk, salt, water, and honey.
  2. Chill. Add flavoring and cream. Cook over hot water until mixture coats a spoon.
  3. Pour into freezer.
  4. Freeze the mixture for at least 4 hours..
  5. Makes 8 servings.
