Ingredients
  • 4 large carrots, peeled, trimmed and cut diagonally
  • 3 Tablespoons clover honey
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 Cup water
  • 1/4 Cup Bourbon
  • minced parsley for garnish
Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring carrots, honey and water to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low.
  3. Cover, with lid slightly ajar, and simmer until water is cooked away and carrots are tender. Remove from heat and add Bourbon. Cover again and simmer for 2 minutes
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Garnish with parsley.

Makes 4 servings, each serving = 87 cal, 0 g pro, 0 g fat, 0 mg chol, 22 g carbo, 32 mg sodium.
