These wonderful dumplings are great with thick Soups and Stews. We’ve made these many times, and always enjoy them.
Gypsy Dumplings (Excellent on Rabbit Stew)

- 1 Cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 eggs; lightly beaten
- milk; as needed
- Sift flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt. Add alternately eggs and enough cold milk to make a stiff batter. Drop by small spoonfuls onto boiling rabbit stew; let rise, then cover and cook for 12 to 15 minutes.
- This recipe yields enough dumplings for 4 to 6 servings.
