Turkey is greatly underrated as a meat for grilling. It accepts the smokey flavor throughout and soaks up the marinade beautifully. Overall, served with sauteed vegetables, a wonderful meal.

Grilled Turkey Steaks
Recipe type: Main
Serves: 4
  • 2 pounds turkey tenderloins, split lengthwise
  • 1 Cup dry sherry
  • 1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  1. Combine the sherry, lemon juice, orange zest, honey, cloves, mustard, and chili powder in a glass or ceramic dish and mix well.
  2. Add the turkey steaks and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.
  3. Remove turkey from the marinade and char-grill fro about 16 to 18 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
