A wonderful dressing for salads, superb as a spread on sandwiches and suprisingly a nice dip for chips and veggies, this superb creation has been a hit since it was first made.
- 1/4 Cup sugar
- 1/4 Cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 Tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 garlic clove; crushed
- 1 Cup oil
- Combine sugar, ketchup, salt, vinegar, Worcestershire, garlic and oil. Stir vigorously or shake in lidded container to mix.
Each tablespoon: 78 calories; 117 mg sodium; 0 cholesterol; 8 grams fat; 2 grams carbohydrates; 0 protein; 0 fiber.
