Chestnut Butter

Ingredients
  • 200 g (7 ounces) unsweetened chestnut puree
  • 200 g (7 ounce) butter, softened
  • 30 - 45 ml (2 - 3) Tablespoons caster sugar
  • 15 - 30 ml (1 - 2 Tablespoons) rum
Instructions
  1. 1. Combine the chestnut puree and butter in a bowl and mix until thoroughly blended.
  2. Add the sugar and rum gradually, adjusting the flavour to taste.
  3. Chill until firm, then use at once, or pot and chill.
Notes
makes 450 g (1 lb)
