Cheese Croutes

  1. 1. Cut rounds from a thin slice of bread, using a 3 - 4 cm cutter.
  2. Toast these on one side, spread the other with butter and a little grated cheese, and toast under a grill until golden-brown.
  3. Either serve separately or add to tomato or onion soup.
Make these and use a series of small cookie cutters to cut the bread into various shapes before spreading with butter and cheese.

Float the finished product in soups, serve as snacks or with other dishes.
