Beer Bird Marinade (Especially for Pheasants)

Ingredients
  • 1/4 pounds butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (2 to 3); minced
  • 12 ounces beer
  • 1 Tablespoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon freshly-ground black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon MSG (Accent)
Instructions
  1. Melt butter; saute garlic until translucent. Add beer slowly and mix in salt, pepper, and MSG. Pour hot marinade over bird and marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Use to baste barbecuing bird(s) as well.
