Supreme Burgers

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 Cup bread crumbs; dry
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 ounces onion soup mix; 1 envelope
  • 1 Cup dairy sour cream
  1. Mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Shape mixture into 8 patties, each about 3/4-inch thick.
  3. Broil or grill the patties 4-inches from the heat, turning once, to the desired doneness, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Assemble as desired.
To make this a truly Supreme Burger, garnish it with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle slices, and place it on a hearty bun, with or without sesame seeds. Serve it with hand cut French Fries. For condiments, we recommend homemade or simple ketchup or a flavored mayonnaise.

Pairs well with beers or red wine.
