Boston Baked Beans

Ingredients
  • 4 Cups navy beans
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 1 each onion, chopped
  • 4 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 pound salt pork
Instructions
  1. Soak beans overnight. Drain, cover with fresh water. Bring to boil, simmer until tender, drain. Pour 1/2 of beans into bean pot. Combine remaining ingredients and add to pot. Pour in remaining beans. Cover with boiling water and bake 8 hours at 250 degrees. Watch & add more water if necessary.
