  2. In a microwavable bowl, melt the butter, sugar, cocoa, and salt in the microwave in one-minute increments, stirring until butter is melted and warm, not hot.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring after each addition.
  4. Stir in the flour, mix, then stir in the vanilla and chocolate chunks until incorporated.
  5. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan, and bake for 45 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, with few crumbs adhering.
  6. Brownies should cool in the pan.
  7. Make frosting while brownies are cooling,
Baileys Irish Cream Buttercream Frosting
  1. Using a mixer, mix the cream cheese and butter together and mix on medium speed until smooth. Add the powdered sugar a cup at a time and then increase speed to medium-high and beat for one or two minutes, or until creamy and fluffy.
  2. Stir in the Irish cream and mix.
  3. Frost brownies, add chocolate slivers and place in fridge, then remove by sliding knife down the sides of brownies and pull up the parchment paper and place brownies on cutting board.
Optional: When the brownies are done, using a toothpick or fork, poke holes into the brownies and brush 1/4 cup of Baileys Irish Cream to the top of the brownies right after they come out of the oven so it can soak into the brownies.

Frost brownies as directed above.
