Arkansas Marinade/BBQ Sauce |

- 2 Quarts water
- 1 1/2 Cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Cups Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 Cups yellow mustard
- 1 Quart ketchup
- 1/2 Cup freshly-ground black pepper
- 1/2 Cup red pepper flakes
- 3 Quarts red wine vinegar
- 1 Quart white table wine
- 1 1/2 Cups salt
- Bring to boil and then simmer for about 1/2 hour. Do not cook or store in aluminum; store in glass. Does not need to be refrigerated.
This is a great marinade for poultry, pork or beef. Marinate the meat for an hour before grilling and then baste the meat once or twice while cooking. This sauce is spicy so go easy on the basting.
