A simple, delicious recipe of small meatballs in a sauce, perfect for toothpick nibbling at your next party.

Crockpot Meatballs
Recipe type: Appetizers
Serves: 6
  • 2 pound hamburger
  • 1 Cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • parsley and oregano
  • onion and garlic powder
  • milk
  • 1 can beer
  • 1 packet ketchup; regular size
  1. Mix hamburg, breadcrumbs, egg, seasonings and milk together. Make small meatballs. Mix ketchup and beer in the crockpot and start to heat.
  2. Bake the meatballs first to get out most of the grease.
  3. You can put the meatballs into the sauce and simmer for several hours.
Baking the meatballs for 15 minutes at 350 degrees releases most of the excess fat, but keeps them moist. Once added to the crockpot, they won't release as much fat, keeping your recipe lease greasy.
