Creamy Cabbage Slaw
Recipe type: Vegetables
Serves: 10
  • 6 Cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 Cup sliced green onion
  • 1 Cup mayonnaise (or mayonnaise-type salad dressing)
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  1. Combine cabbage and green onion. Chill. Blend mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, celery seed and salt, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Chill. Just before serving, toss mayonnaise mixture lightly with cabbage mixture.
  2. Yields 10 servings.
