Creamy Cabbage Slaw

- 6 Cups shredded cabbage
- 1/4 Cup sliced green onion
- 1 Cup mayonnaise (or mayonnaise-type salad dressing)
- 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar
- 2 teaspoons celery seed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Combine cabbage and green onion. Chill. Blend mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, celery seed and salt, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Chill. Just before serving, toss mayonnaise mixture lightly with cabbage mixture.
- Yields 10 servings.
