March is the last opportunity of the season to get fresh king crab. And, as with most seafoods, fresh crab offers a new dimension to any dish.

Crab Casserole
Recipe type: Shellfish
Serves: 0
  • 5 slices bread; broken in pieces
  • 2 Cups cooked crab
  • 1/8 Cup melted butter
  • 1/4 Cup salad dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 1/2 Cup chicken broth
  • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 Cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 Cup bread crumbs (to 1/2)
  1. Line bottom of baking dish with broken pieces of bread. Mix all other ingredients (except cheese and bread crumbs) and pour on top of bread. Top with cheese and then bread crumbs. Bake in 375 degrees oven for 45 minutes or until set.
