Chicken and Mushrooms Marsala

Serves: 4
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce with herbs
  • 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pounds frying chicken pieces, skinned
  • 2 Tablespoons Marsala wine
  1. In 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish, mix sauce, mushrooms, sugar, salt & pepper. Place chicken in dish & coat with sauce mixture. Cover tightly with foil & bake at 350 F. for 30 min. Turn chicken over & bake, uncovered, 30 min. longer. Place chicken on serving platter. Stir marsala into sauce & pour over.
