Serves: 1 pound
- 200 g (7 ounces) unsweetened chestnut puree
- 200 g (7 ounce) butter, softened
- 30 - 45 ml (2 - 3) Tablespoons caster sugar
- 15 - 30 ml (1 - 2 Tablespoons) rum
- 1. Combine the chestnut puree and butter in a bowl and mix until thoroughly blended.
- Add the sugar and rum gradually, adjusting the flavour to taste.
- Chill until firm, then use at once, or pot and chill.
