Bouillabaisse is a glorious French seafood soup, particularly popular in the south, near the Mediterranean Sea. This crockpot recipe is simply delish!

  • 1/2 Cup olive oil
  • 1/2 Cup onion, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1/2 Cup chopped celery
  • 1 pound tomatoes (canned)
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 Cup Sherry or white wine
  • 2 Cups water
  • 1 pinch of dried basil
  • 1 1/2 pounds large or medium shrimp
  • 3 fish fillets, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 pound crabmeat, clams and scallops
  • 4 medium lobster tails
  1. Put all ingredients, except the seafood, in a crockpot.
  2. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 4 hours. Add seafood, cover and cook an additional 3 to 4 hours on HIGH.
