  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 2 rib-eye or strip steaks (6 to 8 ounces each)
  • salt, to taste
  • freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 Cup crumbled creamy blue cheese
  1. Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper, then add them to skillet.
  2. Cook until steaks are nicely browned on the bottom, about 4 minutes.
  3. Turn steaks over, top with cheese and cook another 3 to 4 minutes for medium-rare.
This recipe yields 2 servings.
