Bird White-Wine Marinade (Especially for Pheasants)

Ingredients
  • 3/4 Quart dry white wine; to 4/5 quart
  • 3/4 Cup white-wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 6 whole allspice berries
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 anion; sliced
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients.
