Berry Gelatin Salad

Ingredients
- 1 container Oregon strawberries*
- 1 package strawberry-flavored gelatin (6 ounces or two 3-ounce packages)
- 2 Cups boiling water
- 1/2 Cup dry white wine
- 1 banana; peeled and sliced
- lettuce; for serving
Instructions
- * Note: Raspberries, Blackberries, or Boysenberries may be substituted.
- Drain berries; reserve syrup. Dissolve gelatin in water; add reserved syrup and wine. Chill until mixture begins to thicken. Add drained berries and banana. Pour into 3 1/2-cup mold. Refrigerate until firm.
- Unmold onto lettuce-lined platter.
Notes
This recipe yields 6 servings.
