- 8 pears
- 1/3 Cup honey
- 1/2 Cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 Cup water
- 1 pinch powdered ginger
- Leave stems on pears, but cut a slice from the bottom end to form a flat surface so pears will stand up in baking dish.
- Mix all ingredients and pour over pears.
- Bake uncovered in preheated oven at 325 degrees F, for 1 hour and 20 min.
- Baste with the syrup while baking.
