Asian Broiled Fish
Recipe type: Saltwater Fish
Serves: 2
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 Tablespoons minced green onion
  • 2 cloves garlic; minced
  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger root
  • 1 Tablespoon dry Sherry
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 fish filets such as cod or halibut; (6 ounce ea)
  1. Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, green onion, garlic, ginger, Sherry and sugar in small bowl. Brush sauce over fish then broil fish, basting every 1 to 2 minutes, until fish just begins to flake, about 5 to 6 minutes.
This recipe yields 2 servings.

Each serving: 123 calories; 768 mg sodium; 0 cholesterol; 7 grams fat; 13 grams carbohydrates; 3 grams protein; 1.12 grams fiber.
