These delicious cookies are an ideal accompaniment with a glass of milk, cup of cocoa or tea. Simply wonderful.

Almond Crisps
Recipe type: Desserts
Serves: 1 batch
  • 1 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup melted butter
  • 1 Cup rolled oats
  • 1 Cup coconut
  • 1/2 Cup almonds (halved)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  1. Mix brown sugar and melted butter. Add rolled oats, coconut, almonds and vanilla. Stir. Press into a greased 8 inch square pan.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. Cut in small squares while warm, remove when cooled.
