Serves: 8 ounces
- 100 g (4 ounces) butter, softened
- 100 g (4 ounce) ground almonds
- about 30 ml (2 Tablespoons) caster sugar
- 2.5 - 5 ml (1/2 - 1 teaspoon) lemon juice
- few drops of almond essence
- 1. Put the butter in a mixing bowl and work in the ground almonds thoroughly.
- Add the sugar, lemon juice and almond essence gradually.
- Use at once or pot and chill.
Makes about 225 g (8 oz)
