Ingredients
- 2 ounces watermelon juice, fresh, seedless
- 1 ounce Bourbon, preferably Woodford Reserve
- 1 ounce Citrus Simple Syrup (recipe follows)
- 1/2 ounce peach schnapps
- mint sprig and leaves for garnish
Citrus Simple Syrup
- 1 Cup mint leaves
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1/2 Cup water
- 1/2 Cup lemon juice
Instructions
- In mixing glass, combine watermelon juice, bourbon, simple syrup and peach schnapps. Mix together; pour over crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig.
Citrus Simple Syrup
- Combine mint, sugar, water and lemon juice in sauce pan; boil until sugar is dissolved. Strain. Store in the refrigerator for up to two months.
