Recipe type: Alcoholic Cocktails
Cuisine: Kosher
Serves: 1
  • 1 1/2 fluid ounces Bourbon
  • 1 ounce honey liqueur
  • apple cider (unfiltered, unpasteurized), to top off
  1. Pour the bourbon and liqueur into a lowball glass over ice and top off with the apple cider. Give it a stir.
Use a less expensive Bourbon, as it will be mixed with other ingredients. Save the good stuff for drinking straight up.
There are several good honey liqueurs on the market. Pick any you prefer.
The freshest cider you can get is always best, as it will contain no added sugars. Its tangy nature offsets the sweetness of honey liqueur and pairs perfectly with Bourbon.
