Tempting Almond Tea
Recipe type: Non-Alcoholic Drinks
Serves: 6
  • 4 teaspoons bags -- regular strength
  • 1/2 teaspoons lemon rind -- finely grated
  • 4 Cup boiling water
  • 1/2 Cup sugar -- or substitute
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoons vanilla
  1. Refreshing taste treat.
  2. Place tea bags and lemon rind in large scalded teapot or pan.
  3. Pour in boiling water.
  4. Cover and steep 5 min.
  5. Stir in sugar, lemon juice, almond extract and vanilla.
  6. Serve at once.
  7. Serves 4 - 6.
  8. NOTE: 1/4 cup honey may be substituted for sugar.
  9. Place a fresh mint leaf in bottom of cup before pouring in tea.
