The Manhattan, a classic cocktail, once created started to attract the attention of creative mixologists worldwide.  As a result, there are hundreds of variations, each a delicious cocktail in its own right.  This was one of the very first adaptations of the original.
Dry Manhattan

Manhattan Dry
One of the first of the adaptations of the classic Manhattan, this recipe is well worth a try.
Recipe type: Cocktails
Serves: 1
  • 1 3/4 ounces rye, bourbon, or blended whiskey
  • 3/4 ounce dry vermouth
  • cocktail olive
  1. Stir liquid ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and strain.
  2. Add olive
  3. Serve in a cocktail glass (4.5 oz).
