Made with Bourbon, the John Collins is a close relative of its cousin Tom with a delightfully different flavor combination. Simple, easy to make and refreshing.

- 2 ounces Bourbon
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon superfine sugar
- 3 ounces club soda
- 1 maraschino cherry
- 1/2 slice orange
- In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the bourbon, lemon juice, and sugar.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a collins glass almost filled with ice cubes.
- Add the club soda.
- Stir and garnish with the cherry and the orange slice.
