There are thousands of recipes for Irish Cream Liqueur online, in books and in videos. This one is quite tasty and enjoyable. Make this one if you will use the liqueur within a month.

Irish Cream Liqueur 1

Serves: 5 Cups
  • 2 Tablespoons chocolate-flavored syrup
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 3/4 Cups Irish whiskey
  • 14 ounces can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 Cup whipping cream or light cream
  • 4 eggs
  1. In 6-cup blender, at low speed, combine all ingredients; blend until smooth.
  2. Store tightly covered in refrigerator up to one month.
  3. Stir before serving.
  4. Serve over ice if desired.
If you're worried about salmonella in eggs, rest assured that the alcohol will sterilize the ingredients in this recipe. Make sure though, to use very clean utensils and a sterilized container to hold the liqueur (and funnel for bottling).

Brandy, rum, bourbon, scotch or rye whiskey may be used as acceptable alternatives.
