Fresh blueberries come to market year round, but the most flavorful start to appear in early June through mid-July. These make a superb liqueur that may be used in cocktails, food recipes (makes a great addition to fresh blueberry pie) and consumed as-is. Simple and wonderful.
- 1 Cup of fresh blueberries
- 1 Cup of good brandy
- 2 Cups of vodka
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1/2 Cup boiling water
- Add berries and alcohol to jar, steep for a little over a month.
