The Grizzly Bear cocktail is surprisingly gentle. Doesn’t really have a bite at all. You may be wondering about the Jagermeister parked there in the middle of sweet rich liqueurs and milk, but herbal liqueurs are marrying ingredients. That is, somehow, despite their flavor sounding so wrong for the job, they bring all the other flavors together.

Not that you might have thought Amaretto, Kahlua and milk needed much encouragement.

Enjoy one of these when you’re actually little hungry. If you use whole milk, it’s actually a little bit filling.

For a real shocker, use half regular whole milk and put the other half (skim milk) in a milk steamer and top the drink with steamed milk, stir just before consuming.
