Okay, it’s July 15th and finally, the long-awaited Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is out.  You can finally admit to yourself that you’re more excited about it than your kids.   So what that you really like these movies. They’re way too good for just children and this drink is not for kids either.   Give the little brat a chocolate milk and a cookie while you enjoy this flaming creation.

Goblet of Fire
An incredibly creative concoction to celebrate Harry Potter films and the stories of J.K. Rowling.
Recipe type: Cocktails
Serves: 1
  • 2 ounces apple liqueur or TY KU Premium Sake
  • 1 ounce Kahlua or coffee liqueur
  • 1 1/2 ounces light cream
  • 1 ounce Bacardi 151 rum
  • dash powdered cinnamon
  1. Shake liqueurs (or sake and liqueur) with ice and strain into a martini glass.
  2. Pour cream over the back of a bar spoon to float on top.
  3. Float Bacardi over the cream over the back of a clean bar spoon.
  4. Light the rum with a long wooden match. (DO NOT USE A LIGHTER OR SHORT MATCHES.)
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon (from a safe distance, over the flame and clap your hands over it to extinguish it (failing that, put a salad or dessert plate over the glass.
  6. Stir the drink with a stirrer and serve.
