Emily Collins
Recipe type: Alcoholic Cocktails
Cuisine: American
Serves: 1
  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce Cointreau
  • 3 ounces fresh mango nectar
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • ice cubes
  • club soda or seltzer
  1. Add all the ingredients except the club soda to a shaker and fill with ice.
  2. Shake well until the outside of the shaker is frosty and beaded with sweat.
  3. Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. Top with club soda and garnish with a fresh mango slice.
When preparing the mango for the garnish, leave the skin on a well washed, ripe mango. The fruit should be pliable, but not mushy, and definitely not too firm.

To make fresh mango nectar, puree seedless, skinless mango in a blender or juicer. This is always better than bottled or canned.
