Sleeping Potion

A soothing sleep aid, this beverage may be very helpful in easing you into a good night's rest.
  • 1 Cup milk (skim or whole), organic
  • 1 teaspoon sugar, granulated
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. Warm the milk in a small sauce pan over medium heat. Add sugar.
  2. Bring to a simmer, but do not boil. As soon as you see small bubbles forming around the edge of the pan, it's done. Remove from heat.
  3. Pour vanilla into a mug, followed by the warmed milk. Stir and serve.
If you're diabetic, discuss snacks, including this recipe, with your doctor. He or she may recommend replacing sugar with a substitute, such as Stevia. We don't recommend using typical sugar substitutes as they contain chemicals.
