Hot Benefactor

  • 1 teaspoon sugar syrup
  • 2 fluid ounces Jamaican Rum
  • 2 fluid ounces dry red wine
  • 1 lemon slice
  • 1 grated nutmeg
  1. Add syrup to saucepan with a little hot water and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add rum and wine, and heat until it begins to simmer.
  3. Serve in warmed, heat-proof mug with lemon slice and a sprinkling of grated nutmeg.
