Fruit Slush Mix

Ingredients
  • 4 Cups sugar
  • 1 can frozen orange juice *
  • 1 can pinapple juice
  • 4 Cups water
  • 1/2 Cup lemon juice
Instructions
  1. * The can of Orange Juice should be the 6 ounces size of the concentrate.
  2. Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan.
  3. Heat until sugar is dissolved.
  4. Add orange juice concentrate, lemon juice, and pinapple juice.
  5. Fill 6 or 7 ice cube trays with mixture.
  6. Freeze until firm.
  7. Remove cubes from freezer trays and store in plastic bags.
  8. Use within 6 months.
  9. Makes about 100 small cubes.
  10. !VARIATION:
  11. Add 5 to 6 mashed bananas to mixture before freezing.
  12. !FRUIT SLUSH:
  13. Fill a glass with FRUIT SLUSH MIX cubes.
  14. Add ginger ale to cover.
  15. Let stand 15 minutes and stir and serve.
  16. Makes 1 serving
